Yama Yoga Collective has unfolded as a natural part of my dharma. My journey began as an artist who was keenly aware of the interior landscape of the human experience. With a natural proclivity towards teaching in my early 40’s I discovered the practice of yoga and it has fundamentally changed the way I walk around the globe.
We are nothing without the people who shed light on our path for us. I am humbly grateful to all of my teachers but specifically to Diane Finlayson and Anjali Sunita. Diane for opening her doors and allowing me a safe haven and container to nurture and grow. Yama Yoga Collective carries the same intention for universal peace and practice of a non-dual philosophy that Diane’s Yama Studios maintained for over 15 years. Anjali Sunita, the owner of Baltimore Yoga Village, is also a yogini who opened not only the doors to her studio’s to me but has also welcomed me as a co-teacher in her 200 & 300hr YTT Programs. I continue to be nourished and guided by these two wonderful human beings. Thank you.
In 2019 Yama Yoga Collective is an active part of the Baltimore Wellness Community.
Through our 12 +yoga and meditation classes at John’s Hopkins University we are positively affecting 1000’s of staff and faculty.
